Just a point of note for fellow Snetters. I've been through 2 ARB droplinks on my OSF in the space of 12 months. There had to be something else that was causing such a rapid deterioration of these parts.
So, I had the car up on a ramp at a mates garage and found that the front ARB Bushes were knackered. You can't actually see the condition of the bushes as they are cased by the surrounding steel. We came to this conclusion, as it was evident the ARB bushes had lost their grip on the bar due to lateral play. Just beside the bushes, you could see a small area that was visibly cleaner than the rest of the bar, thus indicating that the bushes had weakened, allowing play in this area.
