Paint removal
I've got a small patch of car paint on my soft top canvas and assumed it would be impossible to get out, however a mate suggested 'thinners' to remove it.
I am reluctant to give it a go incase the patch fades [but paint remains] but if I will take the chance if it almost certain to take the paint away.
Any thoughts?

What colour is the roof?
What sort of paint, if emulsion then do the below but with washing up liquid, not thinners
Try thinners on a bit of the canvas roof which does not show, work in well then rinse, it this is Ok then you can try it on the paint patch
Use something like a toothbrush to apply it directly to the patch (dab on the thinners from a cloth) and a cloth/sponge when washing off. The thinners will soak in and spread around the patch so use PLENTY of soapy water initially then hose down the whole roof.
