Launched it and whats hot?
for the 1st time ever, well properly :s
on a quiet long straight country road with a national speed limit etc
Well, what can i say
caught me out somewhat !!! lol
Coming from fwd motors its an 'experience'
gave me a complete head rush lol
although im gonna try not doing too much heh, not like u need to do it on a normal day to days driving
anyhow
whats 'Hot' for coolant btw? really went out to test my new odb2 bluetooth adapter and it reckoned it got pretty much high 90s , not sure if it broke 99 as i cant figure out how to get a log of all the values off of it heh :/
it started cooling down rapidly after i stopped pissing about mind
also the 0-60 annoyed me, did two launchs when it said OK, and then it just stuck an X up lol :/ o well thats a few litres of petrol gone

If you want a laugh... try holding the handbrake on ( button held in ) then drop the clutch and as the front wheels spin, release the handbrake. Even better if it's damp.

Welcome to teh joy of AWD - Launching is what Scoobs do best; I do a full bore launch almost every day due to having to pull out onto a very busy A-road.
I see a gap approaching, get the boost built up and launch the split second the last car passes. Within one car length I've caught up with the car infront (which is now braking for a 40mph speed camera).
Its quite funny sometimes as the following car takes exception to try and make it look like they've been 'cut-up' and try to close the gap....problem is they can't as I've pulled away so quickly I've already caught up with the car infront ad they need to brake anyway for the speed camera.
These days I don't need to worry about getting the turbo spinning - I just launch. (Golf R32. No turbo lag or spool up issues; just instant power and traction ).
Can never do that with a FWD car - just can't get the traction to get up to speed quick enough (which means a very very long wait for a gap in traffic). Same with RWD; I had to launch my old Monaro in 2nd gear to make a clean getaway out of the same junction, and even then it was still trying to go down the road sideways
