Default need more power?????

hi guys,ive got a blob wrx with sti engine,full decat and mapped to 340b/330t,is it worth havin a gt spec exhaust manifold fitted then map tweeked.how much of a power increase would that be worth.any other suggestions welcome.thanks alot guys.

you might get 350 ish , so not realy worth it , save up get some injectors ,turbo and the headers

Turbo is the main reason it wont make much more.

Headers will gain a little about 10bhp as said above.

Better off with a td05 18g (360bhp), td05 20g (380bhp) for example.

can a td05 20g gain me 40bhp without new injetors and manifold.

Yes as assume you are on 550cc injectors to get 340bhp

ye sti pinks,so td05 20g + headers + map tweek should see a 50bhp gain then but with a bit more lag id guess.

sti,think its 03/04,defo bigger than my old wrx 1.

thats ok then , should be ok for 400 with that

id go fmic, 650s ,headers, and a md321 turbo
your 550s might be ok tho

expensive turbo,goin 6 speed this weekend.yeha.another we question then.lol.my sti engine has been fitted without the sti ecu i.e no vvt can this be wired in or better to get a simtek ecu or similar.cheers guys.

The AVCS has got a huge advantage over non AVCS cars, so get it hooked up if you can. Either get the right ECU for the engine, or yes definately think about Simtek ECU, well worth what you pay for them and the results speak for themselves.
