Default Boss for aftermarket steering wheel.

Quick one, what boss is recommended for an aftermarket steering wheel for an Impreza Sti newage (JDM). One that incorporates the horn is a requirement. Thanks.

Maz: I got this one. The guys at Richard Henry loved the quality. You'll need a resister to remove airbag light and ive heard you can modify the clock spring to keep indicator cancel.. i havnt done this but will probs do it soon

You dont have to go snap off though.

That looks bob on. The thing is I want to retain the horn function on the wheel. Momo do one but no one seems to have one in stock.

or you could just buy the works bell boss kit i have that on my 2002 sti and took my 15 minutes to remove and fit, you keep horn in steering wheel centre, has an air bag light delete and you also keep the indicator stalk auto turn off.

im amazed with it, best i have seen, and theres a guy on heres sells them for next day delivery

2.2 ohm resistor is required to fool airbag computer. I've used these and can confirm they work. Just double over resistor wire ends, poke into yellow airbag plug, and tape up to prevent falling out.

Thanks mate. In the description it says:
COMPATIBILITY NOTES:
- Only for Work Bell Rapfix series
- Not compatible with Airbag equipped Vehicles.

Is that correct, as obviously we have airbags? Also, will that boss work with a quick release, like the NRG one?

Thanks

yeah the one i mentioned 115 or 116 is the one i have on my 2002 and it does the air bag light, and horn if you have a centre horn on the aftermarket wheel and also the indicator stalks still auto off when turning which is pretty impressive

Bonus point for the first person to spot what part's missing.

More seriously, good to see SN working as it should and peeps giving one another useful advice (rather than the usual **** taking, lol!).

not 100% chris sorry, i was looking into snap off before i got this as would have been alot cheaper to do, as theres a local motorsports place sell all the bits needed but i decided on this as is a quality kit.
