New member here from Swindon

2005 2.0 STi Type UK owner

I am lucky enough to have a low mileage car but as always in life there is always a catch...

The car needs a few silly jobs doing to bring it up to scratch but I will need the use of a ramp to stop them becoming a pain in the ***.

They are the types of jobs it is best to do your self £££ and are time consuming:-

Tidy up subframe (after market headers) bit o grinding/wire wheel work and tidy up heat wrap.

Also need to change rear discs, I think I need the calipers off to do this.

I am new to Swindon and I was wondering If anybody would know where I could rent or use a ramp near by?

Other wise it will be cursing on my back on the drive for me!!

 

dont need to remove calipers mate tie them up somewhere i.e. spring
can be a bit of a pain to get discs of though makes sure you slacken off handbrake cable fully the adjuster is under centre console.

 

^^^Thanks I thought I had to take them off duh!!

I am not looking forward to the grinding/wire brush under the car though...
