Has anyone had problems finding a suitable place to jack there scooby up using a trolly jack. At the rear the only place I can see is under the differential which I`m reluctent to do, and the plastic undertray prevents it`s use at the front.

The ONLY recommended places to jack it up are the front and rear points on the sills (but you can jack up under the front towing eyes).

DON'T jack up under the diff (or the sump if the undertray is off, as you are then jacking the whole weight of the car up on the engine mounts - which just might cry enough and despatch the engine through the bonnet!!!).

If you are going underneath it with a trolley jack also use an axle stand under the other sill jacking point so you don't just rely on the trolley jack....

Question

Hows about on the rear diff? All my previous 4x4s (other makes) allow this.

I think you might find all your other 4x4's had a solid rear axle, not IRS......

Right next to the jacking point (1ft in front of the wheel) theres an almost triangular metal plate with 3 big bolts in it, I put a similair sized block of wood under this and have had no bother at all jacking it....
Mindyou I had a very rusty Manta GTE (many moons ago) and despite using blocks of wood I just punched some huge holes :-) oopppsss
