Default fitting sti spoiler

I wont to replace my low level spoiler with an sti spoiler on my sti bugeye.Whats the best way to mark out the extra holes i have to drill on the boot lid.

mask the bootlid up and offer the spoiler up to where it wants to be then mark with pen/pencil then roll some bits of masking tape up to fit the holes in the underside of spoiler that need marking so that there a small bit of tape still sticking past the bottom cover in marker pen or tip ex then place the spoiler in previously marked position and push gently then remove and pen should have left the required marks on the masked up bootlid

not on a Subaru but other cars and worked well for me so thought it may help as can't really differ but feel free to let me know if there is an easier/quicker way as I'm all for an easy life mate

hmmmm take too body shop...will need fair few holes drilling.think i got about 8 on my scooobyworld sti 8 one...i wouldnt even consider drilling that many holes into my bootlid lol...i left too the pros

Just buy an STI bootlid without spoiler in the right colour from andy@scoobyworld on this forum.

My STI spoiler then just plonked straight on as the holes are already there and I have the spare one with the low level spoiler stored in the garage if I ever need to change back

Have to agree that buying the spoiler and boot is the easiest way of doing it
