What brake shoes and discs should I go for.
I have an 07 2.5 Hawkeye Sti, and the brake shoes will be getting renewed over the coming months.
I was thinking of upgading the standard pads and discs to something better, but still suitable for the road. I was thinking of keeping the rear discs, and just changing the pads, but with the font discs exchanged for drilled and grooved discs that would still be suitable for the standard Brembo's.
I would appreciate your advice as to the best options available to me, and perhaps the best place to buy.
Thanks in advance.

As per Joey - your STi has discs & pads all round.
The handbrake mech uses shoes which (like many cars these days) act on a handbrake-specific) face within the rear discs. They don't really suffer any wear so shouldn't need changed.
I changed all 4 discs on my 56 WRX wagon yesterday - rears were Pagid's I'd had for a few months (having taken advantage of the Eurocarparts discounts around Christmas). Fronts were Godspeed grooved discs & kevlar pads I bought more recently.
In hindsight - given the forum discounts Ian @ godspeed offers - I'd have gone for the Godspeed stuff all-round.

Thanks for your help, I think I will give Godspeed a ring, and sort out whats needed.
Sorry about the "shoes" (instead of pads) I am afraid I am just giving my age away referance drum brakes.
Thanks again.
