Visiting your country soon...
My name is Shawn, I'm from Minnesota and I recently (last Summer) built what we yanks call an RSTi. Nothing too special but we didn't get the classic STi's and personally I think they're the best looking. I rewired it and swapped in a GD (V8) full STi interior, V8 STi transmission and an '06 Legacy Turbo (EJ255) engine, with all the V8 brembo's etc.
I've been to London about 10 years ago, when your country hated Americans for dragging you into the war (I would've hated us too ). I loved it there, it's much more beautiful than our own for a lot of reasons.
At any rate I'm sort of throwing around the idea of buying parts there and hauling them back on check in luggage, LOL. The main thing I'm interested in is Morretts, which I'm sure are hard to find but I figured I would ask if there was a good place to find them. I've contacted a few people in the for sale forums and have secured a few parts.
I'll be renting a car half the vacation so I'll have a way to get around, if you guys have any meets or anything I would love to meet fellow enthusiasts across the pond.

Hi mate, we don't hate Americans for dragging us into a war, we hate Bush and Bliar. (Intentional typo).
If you are buying Morettes, keep in mind that any bought here are likely to be for driving on the correct side of the road, ie: the LEFT, so will NOT be suitable for your right hand dip.
Why don't you do the projector retrofit mod, using parts from your own Retrofit Source?
Pretty near you, IIRC.

Ugh you're right I didn't even say the month, I'll be arriving this weekend
It's ok alcazar we all hate Bush here as well. Are the morretts not suitable because of the direction they point? ie. away from incoming traffic.
I just love the way the morretts look, gives it a very unique look to the front facia. Maybe I'll just look for some crystal lights (they were plastic on the year I have).

If you are anywhere near us pop in for a coffee and I'll give you a tour of the workshops and show you some of the race prepped beasts we have here.
Hope you enjoy your visit!

Yes, any Morettes bought here will dip to the left, ie: INTO oncoming traffic for you.
However, depending on what model year you have, you MIGHT be able to get the sellers to do you a right hand dip set. They are around £300 though........
Same problem with crystal lights: the dip will be all wrong for America.
