Default Lost burble with GT headers???

I recently fitted a set of Harvey's GT spec headers and it sounds like the Scooby has lost its exhaust note. I sure its because of the tubular steel, but I cant help but thinking they could be blowing at high revs

Has anyone else noticed the loss in burble and nice deep tone? Or could it be because they are blowing slightly?

What I loose in noise I should gain at my final mapping session I suppose.

Hoping for the magic 450/450+ once Andy F has waved his magic at it.

Yeh, they are definitely unequal.

I have the burble at low rev's but at high revs the deep tone is gone.

you shouldn't loose the burble sound with gt spec type headers and if they were blowing you would know about it cos they would sound ****e.

With GT Spec Headers you do still have a bit of a burble down low but as the revs increase you definitely do lose it and it becomes more of a high revving motorbike scream....... I loved the sound when I had mine......

Mine still burbles but as above, it does change tone a bit and becomes a higher pitch noise at high revs. Personally, I love it.

Am I right in saying that GT spec headers are made from stainless steel if so surely there always going to sound higher/rasper than standard cast ones.
