Default ebay add - thoughts ??

Thoughts / general opinions on the following car guys ??

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.d...:X:RTQ:GB:1123

appreciatte the ebay advert has actually finished (1 day advert ) but as you will see attracted no bids so is still available at this price.

only part s/history but most receipts inc remap and owner has all but one off the past mot certs to back up mileage.

Looks like a tidy car, nice choice of wheels as well. will likely be pushing out around 260 ish BHP for surrogate PPP.

The 3 ownes bit would make me think but it is a low miler .......

Looks a very good car for the price, would be insisting on HPI check before putting any cash on just to ensure its straight and true and has no finance outstanding but apart from that would be a nice car to own

Hope it helps

Okay cheers guys as always appreciatte your views, 3 owners on a 2003 car - from what I have seen thats fairly low is it not ??

only thing I dont like is the lack off a full s/history, flammer kit !! and the broken mirror mounting was it ??

the engine remapper co okay in terms off reputation ??

Missed the flamer bit.

https://www.scoobynet.com/essex-scoo...-scoobies.html

Xtreme scoobies were a bit marmite really....most of the time they had quite a loyal folowing but one or two posts crop up where people weren't happy. Rather like Chy at pennine subaru........ask quite a few and he's an ace engine builder but ask bigarf and you will get a different story.

I'll have a look at the pics again when the kids are in bed

Think she would be a good car at that price. I sold one in Feb for £5500 with PPP but higher miles 70k. She was prestine and had prodrive wheels and fssh.

Wonder why you would only have part service history on a car with only 40k on clock tho

Yeah missed the flamer aswell (is that chavy )

Overall car was great but not half the car a classic impreza is imho

Nick......I think I might PM arf and get the arf going again LOL

Looking at my Bug I guess it has a "part service history" by Matt at RCMS

Seriously though it could be a gem that has slipped through the net with SN type owners or a very badly abused Blob WRX

Oh well never did here back from the seller off the above car so another one off the short list !!

mentioned this one a while back :

http://www.pistonheads.com/sales/2801645.htm

got an email from the seller today to say it was still for sale, asked what gearbox was in it and told original but has had quote "

"" Yep it's the original gear box with uprated plates can take up to 350hp, mine is running a little under 300 so no probs there, and yes she had an uprated clutch fitted with the conversion which wasn't cheap ""

owner has sent me a good few close up pics off the car and must admitt it does look very clean for the age obviously apart from the mentioned " supermarket " inflicted marks !!

rear spoiler ( choice words ) aside !! just wonder what folks views are on this car ?? anyone know it / seen it around ??

Also, he states its had 5 owners on the log book but says 2 of those were the dealers selling it. Strange, dealers NEVER sign cars into their name. The log book has a yellow part for dealers so it doesn't add another owner.

I like the comment at the end, ' these will be a classic soon ',
Errrrrrrrr no they won't buddy,

Yep doesnt sound a lot for the money spent, in saying that if all the receipts are there then cant argue that all the stated work has not been done !!

yep know what you mean regards number off owners never heard off an actual garage registering the car themselves unless using it as a demo car.

surely somone knows this car ?? scooby clinic any comments guys??!!
