I have a Scoobyworld cat back afterburner vortex system (non-resonated) on my '05 STi PPP. i really like it but would like a louder, deeper sound from it without going for a total decat. what other backboxes are worth considering? nur spec s? ninja 2? (had a ninja2 on a previous blob and it sounded louder at low speed than the afterburner?

 

i've got a ninja downpipe with sports cat onto a vortex cat back, and thats rather loud. a nur spec r will cover you very nicely for silly loud.

 

is the nur spec s and nur spec r the same thing other than the fact the r comes as a complete system? have to admit...i am wanting silly loud!!

 

there was a post on it somewhere ref the nur spec s and r, it was earlier this week, but i can't remember where mate, it covered which exhausts are silly loud

Nur Spec R or S will be not overall loud with cat in downpipe,but will be louder than any exhaust out there.

HKS are nice backboxes,not loud and not silent,but on full chat very nice sound..
