Are these Show and Go number plates illegal? Some one is selling these on ebay and i was thinking of getting 1.

there not illigal as long as its not used on the road aka nt flipped up to hide your plate while on a public highway
so pointless really as u may as well put ur plate on velcro and remove it at shows

 

Well as long as you dont retract the plate your ok, its illegal not to display the front or rear numberplate.

All i was thinking is............if i have a heavy right foot going through average speed cameras and i forgot to have my license plate up would that be a crime lol. no seriously i think they look good when you push the button and it flips in. very james bond

Get caught using one on the highway and the police will do you for trying to pervert the course of justice, a way more serious charge than speeding.
