Now it all makes sense!!! Seems to me this fella is never happy and maybe the old thread and the "new thread" are a lesson for any company he instructs to carry out work on his car..
but i would think a mapper should ask what your mods are before mapping.. and everyone i have been to or my mates have been too.. the mappers ahve always asked..?

I'd say A. Of course, and B. It doesn't really matter, as he's working with what you gave him.
On the other hand, if he has a clue as to where it should be, he'll know when he's arrived!
