Thumbs up enginemapper.co.uk - Cheers

Graham came over to me last night (yes, Sunday, arrived 6PM) to map my Type R.

It was my first experience with mapping so all was new... it was a Simtek ECU being fitted to jag's old WR1 bottom end engine, which had been refreshed by Pennine Subaru. My priority was safe running on V Power, and strong smooth delivery second. I even got to do some mapping from the passenger seat mid run with adjusting timing settings, as well as listening through the det cans as what the engine was doing. Graham did comment on the engine sounding quiet & smooth

Graham sorted everything very well. Testing was fun as there was the added element of a suspension set-up in mid-development and I succeeded in giving us both a mini-clutcher around a damp island

Recommendation was for FMIC as the old WRX style top mount was making for some very warm air. That and a VF35...

He finally left mine at about 10-30 for his 2.5hr drive home.

Big thanks.

He did mine on the dyno there last last friday. Bit scary when you`re standing next to it doing 7000rpm.

Stirling effort from Graham today at Silverstone Autosport RR

Turned out being a day long after equipment breakdown - bit of phoning and driving around and he was up and running again

Managed another 30bhp from what my Type R was running, and much smoother too - no compression splutter and earlier, more consistent delivery
