Wondered why I was diverted on my way home....

Hope all involved are well.

There is a comment at the foot of the report asking when something is going to be done about this road. Don't know why. The road is straight, wide, well maintained (for round here) well marked and well lit at junctions. Fair amount of traffic during the day but that's true of most main roads nowadays.

If its the one I am thinking of (that runs past Skylark) then the junction where it joins the A147 can be pretty ****y to get out of. I have seen many people fed up of waiting and cutting across 2 lanes of traffic

Really can't see how people are crashing there.
If something is coming don't pull out,, simples. Crashes there are because of driver error not the road, yea it's busy sometimes (I've sat there for a few minutes myself) but what can you do, you gotta wait.

Then they are going to get hit. Not exactly the roads fault. Suppose it will get the usual answer of speed cameras!

It's like the Forty foot drain. Five miles dead straight (except for one slight bend) which now has a 50 mph speed limit and average speed cameras because some muppets can't drive in a straight line. More danger of ending up in the drain now thru shear boredom.....

Hopefully eveyone is all OK, but I can't help thinking it was a little un-neccesary to cut the roof of each of those cars. I'm no expert, but they didn't exactly looked crumpled up into the cabin.

To have the accident while the firefighters are clearing one on the other side of the road? That my friends is genius at work!

Lets hope theres no serious injuries, on a serious note.

If any of the occupants complain of neck or back injury these days it's off with the roof. Better to lose the car than the ability to walk.

Hope all involved were ok.
