haveing duncan remap my car earlier in the year to replace the cowboy map who i let loose on it. i could'nt wait to see what it would be running as it was pulling harder than previous and he told me you can get more than 265bhp (previous map)out of a wrx and see around 280bhp give or take with the right mods were i have the 2nd and 3rd pipe decated, cold feed induction kit with a cold air pipe pointing towards useing the intake pipe off the airbox, V Power and a walbro uprated fuel pump.

after it had a power run to see what it was producing i think duncan tweaked it a little bit more on the map and gave it a couple of run ups and hay presto i couldnt believe what it made and very surprised has ive read about them doing 280bhp.

so what we was surprised to get from a TD04 wrx that its running 298bhp, just 2 away from 300 lol

yeah i agree, dont how he manage it but duncan did make me laugh when he said what you running it on any addative, erh no just running v power only

yeah it suprised us both and the guys at scoobyclinic, they said it is a record for a td04 on a newage wrx there.

Sorry to 'trump' you but i know of a JDM Blobeye WRX which made 302bhp, but 298bhp is a very good result.

cracking write up on his track car he has just mapped mine yesterday and managed to get 340bhp/350lbft torque though not on a standard wrx lol
he mentioned your car and how they were surprised at what it produced on standard turbo nice results
