Okay cheers mate , would this increase off power be immediatly noticed from stock given the graph printout ?? is the remapp normally noticed in terms off increased acceleration or top end or what ??
lastly- the full de cat scoobyclinic exhaust, I take it this in itself would add a good few bhp to contibute to the final 260 bhp figure ??

to be honest i would be wanting 270 to 280 bhp specially with a full decat .......but all cars obtain different power levels...its in the zone, all be it,,its at the bottom end of it..

260 bhp on a respected dyno with a TD04 WRX depending on mods is just about right.... with other mods you can screw up to 300 BHP from a stock TD04 but it needs a few mods and running on the knife edge as at high flow rates the TD04 simply heats the air up rather than compressing it efficiently.
I guess if he stuck it on Well Lane's rollers on a good day it would have mede more LOL
Shaun
PS....the official Power figures released by Subaru are in PS and not BHP

Yes you will feel the difference between stock 225 and this at 260. It should pull harder and deliver the power better throughout the rev range. Depending on the mappers skill tho.
My 2005 wrx is decatted, k&n panel filter, walbro and mapped. I haven't dyno'd it but Dynamix told me to expect 280bhp based on how the session went. Personally i'd be a bit dissapointed with 260 but thats not a reason to not buy the car.

Hi,
we see anything from 260 to 280 BHP on a TD04 powered car once mapped, remember it all depends on the fuel that the owner runs his car on, this one looks as if it may have been on a lesser fuel than Shell "V" power or Tesco 99 octane.
cheers

Thanks kev appreciate your reply, I see from the receipt from the work done at the clinic that a full 4" de cat scoobyclinic exhaust was also fitted at the same time, I take it the remapp would have been done after the exhaust was fitted ??
what would the above exhaust + kn filter normally add in itself ??
p.s kev further to your PM regarding photocopied graphs / false receipts mate just wonder if you could check at work if indeed the car / owner is on the system as having been worked on - would certainly be appreciatted mate.
