Default Best fmic?

As the post says, I own a classic impreza with just over 300 bhp and I'm looking to fit a fmic and I was just wondering which fmic is best for performance and cost as money is a tad tight but I want to get a decent fmic and not a **** one and also where is the best place to buy a fmic from. Thanks in advance.

Harvey on here does a good one so I've heard, think he charges about £350 for the whole kit.
In my opinion, stay clear of the eBay tat. Heard lots of stories where pipes don't fit etc etc. Pay that little bit more and get a decent intercooler which is a direct fit.
Or save up loads of pennies and buy a HKS one like mine, lol...
Seriously though, don't think you'd go far wrong with one of Harveys kits chap.

if money is tight and you only have around 300bhp,why not just fit an sti8 top mount.

Realistically, how much is a top mount fit on a classic?

TMIC ~£200
Large bonnet scoop and painting ~£200
Undertray/some kind of surround...£?
And there's fitting

Harvey's are £325 plus £185 fitting

Correct. Thanks. Most cost effective Classic option is Hybrid GT for £325. Delivery £12.50 or we fit for a fixed £185. In stock and ready to send same day or next day from receipt of funds to Paypal harveysmith1@btopenworld.com or you can do a bank transfer if you wish.
This FMIC outperforms FMIC kits costing nearly three times as much and I include FOC a silicon joiner fot the BOV connection.
Also available are BOV flange adaptors £26.50 if required for M/Y 99>
