Why drive down when postage is cheaper? Would have saved loads of cash and it's easier to post back and would cost lees.

Have you spoke with them before the rant?

Thing is it may have come off a version 7 that had a different turbo so a different sized heat shield. As my v7 heat shield does not fit my turbo and exhaust housing.

JPP is bad idea for shopping and really rather i will wait and find what i need on forums,eBay like buying there.

For 1 wing/fender on Subaru V7 WRX/STi £85 is too much i think.

Ah! Induction heatshield !

Make one out of cardboard, e-mail Harvey and he should be able to find some carbon sheet the same size, dremmel out the carbon, apply some reflective heat shield, slit some rubber tube to glue to the edges............. Job done

I have had a few parts off them always been honest with description so I am not disappointed when it arrived, always helpful as well although yes a little expensive compared to private sales but not more than any other breakers I have tried probably best to ring them sure it can be sorted out

I was going to sayu, never heard borring drive and scooby in the same sentence. And as regard impreza parts there all rip off's, i wanted to buy a set of bonnet struts to hold bonnet open with, for a corsa there 15 pounds, and for a subaru there 35 plus, what the hell.

Aluminium conducts heat, it would be the worst thing to use.

Firstly I would like to apologise for any inconvenience this may have caused you, however you could have given us a phone call to discuss the matter before "ranting".

The item in question was miss labeled as "Heat Shield", where it should have been marked up as an exhaust heat shield. You even stated on the phone "it looks like my cardboard template".

This item was sold to you as unused, which £50 is rather cheap compared to the quote you had to custom fabricate one.

Regarding our prices, yes we are more expensive than some people on eBay/forums etc. But we are a business, and we only sell genuine items. Not knock off rubbish.

I hope this helps to explain our side of this story.

regards, Jas

i brought some hawkeye door cards yesterday from the guys in the "rant"
i previously emailed to ask for some pictures which they sent me so i knew the item was right before buying. ( a lot of breakers dont even bother replying ).
then explained what i wanted on the phone so as to make sure i got all i needed.
less than 24 hours all the stuff i asked for arrived in great condition and at a reasonable price.
from my experience they were good to deal with and supplied the items requested in good condition.
as i am converting a blobeye to a hawkeye i will deff use again for my parts.
as you travelled down there and looked at the item before buying surely you should have noticed it was wrong.
there are thousands of parts on cars ( i know im taking mine apart ) and it must be easy to label the odd item up wrong.
i need some random interior parts and have no idea what they are called so im going to email a picture of the parts i need to ensure i get the correct ones.
if the wrong ones are received i would phone up before ranting, at least give them a chance to put it right, after all they are running a business and dont want bad press.

Like I say I'm sorry for the inconvenience caused, if you don't want the item we will gladly take it back and refund you.

If you post it back to us we will refund you the original price and the postage to return it.
