Default engine question?

Can anyone shed light my question can you take the heads off with the engine still in situ if so how hard?????????

It can be done up on ramps or axle stands but not much room to manoeuvre.

Totally agree, for the time it take's to get one of these out.
It will have you swearing like a trooper if you do it in situ

Also, guess it would be pretty damned hard / impossible if you have head studs as opposed to bolts...?

While you have the engine out it may well be worth fitting a new clutch if it is old/high miles on it.
