Default Longest wait for your scoob?

My car gave up on 14th April, turns out it managed to melt a hole through the piston whilst on the motorway. A full rebuild is on the way still and should (fingers crossed) be done in a couple of weeks. So that's 13 to 14 weeks of no car !! Not bad seen as I only bought it around 10 months ago.

In a blatant attempt to make me feel better, any chance anyone has had to wait longer than this??
Cheers.

Very impressive. I wasted longer than that when mine died praying to the motoring gods for a miracle.

Mines has been two years, took it off the road for the winter and to fit a flocked dash. Got half way through taking the old dash out and couldnt be ar$ed with it and shoved it back into the garage where its been since
