My car gave up on 14th April, turns out it managed to melt a hole through the piston whilst on the motorway. A full rebuild is on the way still and should (fingers crossed) be done in a couple of weeks. So that's 13 to 14 weeks of no car !! Not bad seen as I only bought it around 10 months ago.
In a blatant attempt to make me feel better, any chance anyone has had to wait longer than this??
Cheers.

A year and a half mine has been off road after blowing a conrod through block. Should be bak on road in a few weeks
back in 1998 I ordered a new turbo 2000 in reddish blue
11 months later it turned up in dbm blue with all the my2000 upgrades
that was the longest 11 months of my life
Mine blew at the end of April and should be back on the road in the next couple of months with a new 2.35 with rotated gt30.... Hope to get it all mapped and ready for a Nurburgring trip in September
3 years and there was nothing wrong with it. Money saving/property purchase exercise.
Mines has been two years, took it off the road for the winter and to fit a flocked dash. Got half way through taking the old dash out and couldnt be ar$ed with it and shoved it back into the garage where its been since
