Seems genuine to me mate but no doubt there will be more knowledgeable folk along soon, have seen a few TK models for sale over the years so yep there is certainly such a model. 1st uk owner is a good thing as long as the usual jobs have been carried out - undersealing etc (sorry if this is in the actual descriptio -just read it quick !! )

Tommy Kaira were an independant tuner who took stock imprezas and modded them.........last one was M20B I think.
Really quite rare and can go for quite some cash if pristine.
Google will be your friend.

Yep... Tommy Kaira are a Genuine Model as explained... They are Type-RA`s that are Tuned by TK..
Quite a find at £3750... Quite a Bargain... If I could sell my Scoob and find a bit extra, I`d love that one...

Looks like an original TK to me. But then again it must be because nobody in their right mind would wreck an STI by bolting on that body kit, lol. Man that is one ugly car, not quite as bad as a S201 but not a million miles away.
Each to their own though, just be prepared to have it a while as they are not an easy sell.

I am the owner of that very car and the engine change is genuine. STi RA block sourced from Grade A Subaru at a pretty penny, plus refurbished heads etc. Had ideas of tuning but just been hit with a cut in hours / pay

hi,
call me soft but if you have changed the engine wasn't that what made the car a special edition with its tk tuning, so is it now just a normal scoob with a tk body kit?

The engine is not special in any way, its a standard issue WRX-RA or now STi-RA. Tommy Kaira made alterations to the ECU, not sure if it was their own or just modified the stock management.
