Hi my husband has just bought a 05 subaru. It has wrx 300 badges on it and most of the stuff listed as being on this model, but how can we be definitely sure it really is a wrx 300 as we do not have a limited edition certificate??
As you can probably tell i know NOTHING!! Please help me!!!

yes it looks like this and its got the 300 badges and mats, but i just wondered how we'd know if it was a genuine limited edition one or if someone had bought the badges and mats off ebay or whatever?

The applied model code will be the same as they were standard wrx's which had a make over in the UK, but if its a MY05 WRX300 it should also have the PPP as standard ![Wink](https://www.scoobynet.com/images/smilies/wink.gif)

I've got a booklet like the one in the link above but again i've seen them for sale on ebay. I just don't seem to be able to find anywhere that can tell me for definate if our car is one of the 300 limited edition cars?

The PPP was offered as a free install after 1000 miles, so when it was first registered it is just a normal WRX. Thats why you would have to let your insurance company aware that it has the PPP pack, it is recognised by most insurers.

Have told the insurance that its a limited edition. Do you think i need to be more specific with them.
I'm going to assume then that it is a genuine wrx300.
Does anyone know if i can get hold of another certificate for it?? i know its a long shot.
