Default What you all think??

Hi all i have sold my R33 GTR Skyline so have a bit of cash for a wkend toy, not wanting to spend loads as been down that road so looking for something with a bit of power and torque. My skyline had 780bhp and could really shift so ideally something with a bit of punch. Iv been checking the ususal ebay? pistonheads and have a budget of around £10k, can you advice me what to go for. I like the look of the hawkeye big spoiler ect ect, any help would be appreciated.

Thanks
Elliot

im looking for a new age and as iv had many performance cars over the yrs to be honest i find it a pain in the a!$e getting parts fitted, would rather buy something ready to go not needing anything and looks the part.

I doubt i will find anything as fast but i just couldnt use the power on my GTR

Lol at the 10k budget then the 15k rb320, so the budget is out the window and you've only just started looking.

Fantastic, with a 15k budget you are in holy grail territory the holy grail being a jdm sti spec c.

Do some research.

Enough said.

Someone say Spec-c, lol.

Depending on which year you want the 03-04 or the 05 model spec c`s,The revised 05 model had a slightly widertrack and larger hubs, All versions of the Spec-c are, Lightweight, twinscroll turbo, Shorter 5th & 6th gears, with the roof vent, also depending on the model(Limited) some have electric windows and air con, standard they are booked at 0-60 in 4.2 and 0-100 in 11.1 secs, with approx 310bhp. Same looks as the 03-05 model UK impreza`s apart from a roof vent but weigh approx 90kg less.

They dont come up for sale too often, i`ve only had mine a few months but got very lucky finding it, They look like this in either White, Blue or Red, Gaz.

I've seen a few uk hawkeyes for under 10k. Not something you would have seen beginning of last year.

Terminator X's car is up for sale here. 450bhp for about 8 grand - that's a good car! Couple grand on future mods and more ponies to play with. Plus the all important drivetrain has been upgraded to withstand abuse too.

Don't rule out the classics, Newages are lardy or ugly (sometimes both)

This Is my opinion and I know many others share it.

Everyday car then newage (blob/hawk) is the way to go.

Weekend fun, the lightness and agility of a classic STI is unbeatable.
