Default Whole car vehicle wrap info

How does a vehicle wrap effect the paint work underneath? Anyone considered or had a wrap done over a full respray? I've notice some very good deals on whole vehicle wraps, just wondered what people's experiences were.

Anger would know, his car had a full wrap on it (the storm trooper) when he bought it, he removed it a short while after he bought the car so he would be able to tell you what the paintwork was like after removal.

my roof had a grey vinyl wrap on it when i got the car, took it off since and it had been rubbed down underneath to let the vinyl key properly to the roof, dont know if they do that with a full rap though

done properly, the car should be machine polished and protected with a suitable sealant before the wrap is applied to the paintwork. theoretically you should be able to pull off the wrap and find your paint perfect.
