Well,the first headlight is baking in the oven!
Its like waiting in the dentist.....this could be expensive!!

Good luck mate i did this with my Supra headlights worked a treat! Just keep a eye on them!

hi, before i put the unit back together i put a bead of black mastic into the channel where it seats together, heat it all up, press together and tighten all the screws up
pretty much a perfect seal

Right thats it, you've pushed me into doing it tomorrow/friday. Sod running in my new engine that can wait till the weekend...

Sivo is right,it is pretty easy!
Take your time taking the grill off,i easily snapped one of the clips,its not really needed though,thankfully!
Everything has gone well,just gonna wait over night for everything to dry properly and put everything back together tomoz.

TBH you would have to be a mong of epic peportions to f**k it up, the plastics used will easy cook all day at 90 deg without melting.
I wonder how many people have cranked the oven up though getting impatient at how long the glue is taking to soften lol ...

No problems mate.
I had them in the oven at 100c for 14 mins.I had them out twice before then and it wasnt long enough,just go for it.
I havent put a bead of sealant around mine yet,but intend to very soon to save water getting in.
