He scots have you fitted your dawes yet and if so has it made much of a difference. If you can be bothered I'd appreciate a report on changes to 'feel' and 'performance' and since your going that far you could also chuck in economy

Hi Kenny - sorry, missed the post earlier

Feel: Seems much more lively - the turbo seems to spool up faster and gives a much bigger 'push' in the back during acceleration - the same feeling when you put your foot down with WOT in forth and fifth.

Performance: Faster faster faster Seems to really provide a big uplift in the torque stakes - a lot more drivable.

Economy: Difficult one this as I just changed over to SUL which was giving better fuel economy. Saying that I just got almost 300 miles from a tank of SUL - and that's with me enjoying the Dawes Have to say though that I don't go for those back road jaunts that John does

More than happy to meet up again Kenny if you want to feel what a MY99 car is like with only a Dawes installed and nothing else.

Richard.

Great plan! Would be very interested to see what difference £35 and some TLC from Mr. Banks can do! Happy to travel to your pad if you want.

I feel the difference is excellent.

I'll drop you a line towards the end of the week and we can arrange a time to meet up.

Edited to say that I'm not sure if I have your e-mail address - could you drop me a mail?

Cheers
Richard.
