I am not one to bother posting threads of other cars for sale at silly prices ,but given that it's most likely a member off here and an enthusiast some of the content is surprising. Such as getting onto 500bhp ,but it's not been on a RR ![Brickwall](https://www.scoobynet.com/images/smilies/brickwall.gif)

Ring Iain ... see whether he knows the history ... ??
A 2004 car will be a Mark 1 T25 .. which was c.350 hp if I remember rightly.
I thought that the Mark 2 T25 with the Cosworth bits got to c.410 hp ... so 500 seems a little optimistic unless it has one of Iain's or Scoobyclinic's new large twinscolls put on it and mapped to the max.
Also just a thought given the age ... it is recommended by AST that the coilovers are re-furbed at 40k miles ...

I'm no great writer BTW i just think the advert needs a tweak

To be fair I think the advert is meant to mean
mk1 Type 25 360bhp with £7000 cossy rebuild so get a mk2 T25 and now capable of 500bhp

It could be a MY05 car (it would have to be if it is crystal grey), but still 350 bhp. The Cosworths were good for 415, 450 with a FMIC IIRC.
ASTs refurbed at 40k? I'll see what they're like when it gets there

20K? i don't know if this guy is hopeful of just plain delusional. i suppose at the end of the day it's worth what someone is prepared to pay. if someone can get 50K for kate middleton's VW golf then anything is possible. i wouldn't btw. too slow for me

500+bhp is more than feasible on a 2.5 with Cossie internals. It certainly doesn't have to be mapped to the max. I got those kinds of figures FOUR years ago on my Cossie "Type25" build.
Also not everyone gives a **** about RR figures, so I can understand that the owner does not know or probably even care.
Granted... the advert is not the best.
The price... well that is the business of the advertiser.
