Default Got my first Subaru on Saturday - I'm in love!

Got myself a nice 2007 STI hawkeye on Saturday, drove it back to Sunderland from Newcastle and even managed 35 mpg. Lovely!

The one word I could use to sum the car up tho is...

terrifying.

I've never felt power delivery like this before, and so much grip! and the noise! Oh the noise!

One question though, the car dealership claimed it was a PPP, but without a certificate how can I tell?

How the hell u managing that kind of mpg?? That can't be right. I bought myself my first scooby 3 weeks ago. It's a 55reg type 9 sti and get about 15mpg, it is 350bhp with lots of toys on mind. P.s, I don't live too far from you, Darlington.

I was mostly doing 60 mph on the way home, just taking my time. Was running it on 97 RON fuel of course. I'm usually pretty economical, but it's great to know that when I do want to overtake I can pass everything but a petrol station.

Tank was 214miles, used 27.8 litres of fuel.
(214/27.8)*4.54 litres in a gallon = 34.9 mpg

Keep an eye on the oil level as 2.5's are reknown to use a bit, if it gets excessive is when you worry but good luck and cant believe you got 35 mpg
