Hi,

looking at buying an 05 JDM STi but the owner only has history after 16k miles,is this common with imports?

I believe JDM's are forged right?

workers at the ports go through imported cars for paperwork as it fetches good money, they take what ever is there.

Mine has a Japanese service book stamped but can't read or understand it, then have history from uk in form of receipts and service checklists from specialists, although since I have owned it I have just kept all receipts from parts and work carried out. Fluid changes I have done myself.
