Hi all

Im going to have a look at a 2003 spec-c limited on monday it dosent have fsh but the chap who owns it is a mechanic and has done cambelt services etc shes only done 45k and is his second car its got a s202 spoiler and has been mapped to 350 buy powerstaion its near standard was just wondering if anyone has a limited and is there anything i should ask etc im taking a v good mechanic with me but just wanted all help/info i can get what would you say its worth?

p.s he has original spoiler plus another set of wheels hes chucking in

any help would be great

just a warning, a guy who lives down the road from me is a mechanic and has blown 2 scoob engines basically down to neglect ( low oil ) . Silly i know, but just because hes a mechanic dont mean he looks after it

 

What colour is it? and is it a vx plate?

The VX plate cars were Litchfields so would have been mapped for uk fuel, mine is white still looking for that elusive red limited ending in B as I know where D is and mine is C (red/white/blue )

I`ve seen it on Type-Ra forum and spoke to the owner a while back via forums, He`s also got a mate that`s in Blackpool with a Red Spec-C the same as mine but i`ve never seen either of them about, Is the owner of this still in Blackpool?

Tony, if i ever see the red one i`ll ask him if it was the one on the VX from litchfields as i know it has a private plate on at the moment.

Ian,there was one knocking about the Blackpool Area that was fire damaged,and then straightened out and re sold,and it wasnt registered

If i was you i would register on http://www.ladsoc.co.uk/forum/index.php and ask a few questions on there to see if anyone knows anything about it

Hi gaz i also went through that thread ive spoke to the owner of the white spec-c he really sounds genuine he did say he only uses the car as a second car and i belive him as car looks sweet yes owner is still in blackpool and ive spoken to him on loads of times over the past couple of days

thanks stu ile check that site out the car has had two hpis done so if car had been damaged surley that would show? im not doubting owner as he as been straight up with me but i havent a clue with spec-cs so want to get a sorted one

Oh, just to let you know, the guy is not registered as far as I know on that's site as I have been an active member there for the last few years and i'v not seen him or the car on there, might be worth asking a question to see if anyone else knows anything though

No didnt view it yesterday as I had to go wales Sunday and pick up a 3dr cossie for me stepson I will be taking a look at spec-c in next couple of weeks if anyone sees anymore limiteds for sale preferably in white could they let me know plz
