When i had my Impreza, the best mod i did was putting a lightened flywheel in there, although the ALK/ARB/Drop Links were very beneficial too
6ltr V8 sounds a good way to go though

For me,
1. Anti roll bars Front/Back
2. Alloy drop links
It totally tranforms the handling on Bends even more so with upgrade!

After I'd done the whole ARB braces thing..the most noticeable mod was solid engine/gearbox mounts. Was amazing how much flatter the car drifted !

3. ALK
4. Proper four wheel set up.
Transformed the car so its now a lot more predictable when i'm 'pressing on'.

first remap. even going form 260 to 340 didn;t seem as big a jump as the first map.

I'm torn between two
Boost controller combined with my Apexi Power FC & remap, it was amazing!
but then, Carbotech XP8 pads, when I first fitted them, lets just say when I stopped it felt like my face was being ripped off, Carbotech pads are incredible!

Apart from bigger engine, it was the FMIC, strut brace and lightened flywheel. Huge difference!

On my classic its the sparco prodrive bucket seats, they make you feel like you are attached to the car.

1. Whiteline adjustable rear ARB and drop-links, transformed the standard cars handling, best value mod on my car .
2. First re-map 265 to 340 bhp
3. AP six pots
dunx
P.S. DCCD was good, but more evolution than revolution.

Arb seems to come up alot. I would say my tein coilovers made a big difference.
Obviously the map was a big deal but that was at the same time as fmic, exhaust and induction.
And i agree with the cassette in 2005 WTF lol
