end of the clutch???
my wrx i have just got has got a issue with the clutch, can anyone advise?
the clutch pedal doesnt return all the way back up when your foot is removed it is about a inch less.
i just flick it up the last bit with my toe, but can be anoying!
the bite seems quite high but as i said the pedal only returns most of the way.
i bought the car knowing this and prepared to change the clutch prob a exedy.
i wondered though if it was something else simple before a buy the clutch kit and poss a slightly lighter fly wheel.
any insight would be great, cheers

Mine does the same, change gear . . . . . . . . clunk (pedal back to top).
Tbh mine does need bleeding, but the clunk is the pedal needing grease I`m sure or the spring needing a clean.

I had a similar problem with my old car. I was driving along, presssed the clutch pedal,it clunked didnt come all the way up, had to lift it with your foot. The clutch cable changed and it was fine.

Imprezas have a hydraulic clutch, check for leaks and check your fluid level. If it is ok, try and bleed it before changing the clutch.
Wouldn't bother changing to a lighter flywheel. decent ones aren't cheap and better mods can be had for the same price

Clutch return spring lives under the intercooler, a missing spring can cause the symptoms described... Have a look on the clutch arm sticking out of the gearbox and see if it's there, that's usually the problem...
When mine was stucking (only after a serious amount of throttle) it was caused by the previous owner fitting the clutch plate incorrectly so it was binding slightly. Simply removing it and refitting it solved the problem and it's been great ever since. Not exactly a minute fix though...
