depends what bar you want to run, i reckon 265hp






just kidding...... 330 hp , 310ibft

 

I got 315/310 eith a pump and af remap everything else as sti intended it
So more than mine

what are the limits of the VF24? when does it run out of puff?

 

thats a good question,i think they can only run around 1.3 bar and also forgot to add it will be mapped for super unleaded(97) rather than v power so this may also affect results.
it seems a little strange that the figures predicted so far vary so much.

 

would like that very much but it could be enough to spill my gearbox......

I would think somewhere between 310 and 320 on an accurate dyno.

 

cheers matty,tbh ill be very happy with 320 bhp.id like to see more than 300 for sure. how can one person say 342bhp and another 310bhp?

i dont think the 440s would manage that tbh.

 

It's just people making uneducated guesses chap. A 24 will top out at around 330 so 340+ is pretty much out of the question.
Aim for 310 and then anything more is a massive bonus hey.

ive always found what ever figures you expect to get,the turn out has always been slightly less which is a bit annoying.

hopefully i wont be dissapointed as i know if it didnt hit 300 i would be

It will make 300 chap.
And if it didn't it really doesn't matter. You've got a really nice car there with the potential for lots of power in the future. At 300 with that box you'll have loads of fun. But you will want more at some point and that my friend is a certainty. You've already started on the slope to poverty, it only gets steeper from here, lol.

 

That's what I got mate but didn't have the fmic but had a full decat and not a sports cat. To be exact though it was 319.6 bhp

 

if it didnt make 300 then surely something is wrong?

yep defo cant wait,its been ages as you know,engines now been ran in,also i fitted front mount and induction last week so been driving like miss daisy,(off boost)its only running 1 bar boost so will be looking forward to a decent bit of power and then being able to use 300+ bhp again.
thursday cant get here quick enough.
