Based on what I have, what we paid for my missus car and what my mate just bought (mines a 2000 X, missus a 2001 bug and mates 99 w reg) I'd say that if you get offered 2k then take it.

Mine is a saloon 2000 MY00, 116k, MOT/Tax, 336bhp, VF35 turbo, FMIC, Walbro pump, Sti suspension, ECUtek map, 17" Superleggeras, Whiteline ARB's and Links, Fully resprayed in 2009, etc etc and I paid £1900

Missus paid £2400 for a WRX bug with 88k, mot/tax, 18's, coilovers, arb's, full decat system, panel filter, 270vhp

Mate paid £1500 for a fairly standard MY99 with 70k, FSH, 17's, decat system and panel filter.

Unfortunately theres more money in breaking them at the moment that selling complete. Its a buyers market and prices are low at the mo.

1600-£1700 would be a good price I would take £1500 If you don't get much I interest at first

What's the rear arches like ?
Mileage is over the 100k which puts people off for the cost of a rebuild and mods mean increased insurance costs

For the record I just paid £1380 for a MY99 S-reg stamdard UK wagon with under 100k on the clock and a good amount of service history.

I'd say on a good day £2000, not so good, £1600

Wow prices have dropped off

Rear arches are good no rust, where cleaned, stripped and re-underseeled when the arches where rolled.

Just wondered how much i should insure it for this year, As am not ready to sell the wagon yet.

Hope for 400bhp one day but am a long way from that at the mo .

so should i insure the wagon for £2000

But thanks for the advise and keep it comming

That is a massive shame what a wicked wagon.

Just hope I can get mine up there with the greatest of the wagons one day soon.

Love the arches too, what power was this one running
