I have gone down the PPG route as I wasn't keen on the 6 speeders. Only picked up the PPG gearset last week so can't coment on what it drives like yet. I love the 5 speed ratio's and use my wrx mainy for trackdays. Everyone is different so you need to try a 6 speed to see if you get on ok.
Spotted this earlier at a good price should you want 6 speed (not me or anyone I know!)

I have talked to a few RCM big power WRX guys who had 5 speeds fitted by other companies and are looking to upgrade to a 6 speed that’s an expensive error in my book. 6 speed can take loads more power and still sounds and drives like a normal car.
After spending big money on getting more power I don’t want to worry about breaking it for the a small saving

Then it's just down to indivdual preference rather than one being better than the other on the road?

The dog box is rated to 600bhp but would not want to use that in a daily driven car tbh

They rate the dog kit for 600 but thats hardly advisable on a daily driver.
