I just fitted a new janspeed 3 inch exhaust system sports cat back is it ok to run it with out the heat shield . And is it best to heatrap the sports cat . And should it be remapped now I'm running this system. It's a 2005 blobeye sti does anybody no please

 

Id heat wrap it to be on the safe side anyway. As for a remap,id reccomend one anyway but after you have done a few mods,i;e fuel pump ect

 

the newage dont seem to like any mods at all unless they are mapped acordingly
