Default subaru seats are sooo uncomfortable

has anyone else noticed this or am i just a old git???

My WRX has a 22B interior (same as RB5 i believe)..but fkn hell, after about 30 minutes they are really uncomfortable...ive had the car for nearly 3 years and have never got used to them. STi seats are much more comfortable, but still not exactly plush..
i had a 5 hour drive to the coast this wkend and had to put a cushin under my **** about an hour in..i felt like a pensioner!
this is making an M3 even more tempting!!

Not as bad as my mates 172 cup seats! Shocking they are.

I spend about an hour in my car a day and don't notice anything uncomfortable about the seats. 5 hours is asking a lot in any car that doesn't give you a massage though

Your an old git! Lol.

I love my seats, Iv had mine 5 years and never had an uncomfortable journey. People alway comment how 'cushty' my seats are!
Either way a scooby is not meant to be comfy, it's meant to go round corners at insane speeds and give you a massive grin

I used to have sports seats retrimed in leather originaly in my bug and done a few 4 hour journeys without any pains, and have recently upgraded to P1 seats. Find these alot more comfy but they do bring on the odd pain after an hour or two.

I could'nt get away with classic wrx seats, tried the sti seats, and found no difference, used to get back ache after 20 miles. Stumbled across some prodrive recaro's for sale many moons ago now and snapped them up. I would highly recommend them, if you can find some. I've never had a problem since. Made me love my car again!

It rather looks like the latter. Corset or body stocking may be your only recourse. Cheaper than getting an M3.

hmmm...
weird..everyone who sits in the car moans about the passenger seat too after about 30 minutes.
ive done a google search and uncomfortable subaru seats is bemoaned all over the net.
the ones in my motor are much firmer than any STi seats ive sat in..the base of the seat if very hard..theyre great for some sprited B road blasting, but on a long run are horrible.

The best Impreza seats are fitted in the S202, they grip well and even bigger boned like me can sit in them comfortably.

The Spec C Limited seats aren't too bad either.

I know that a colleague complained about the passenger seat in my 05 STI after a 1.5 hour journey.

My bugeye STI seats are so comfy not really been sat at any length of time in any other scooby to know how others feel. My seats are in my top 3 of my fave bits i love about my car.

Interesting comments.
If i bought another Scooby this is another consideration id have to take into account.
I love my Scoob, but after a cpl of years, its pissing me off..luckily, i dont do too many long journeys.
Hmmm.....ive been in a few STi (Blobs)..and i cant decide on these either..im not 100% on the looks, but ive seen a cpl of cracking examples, with nice, sensible mods..if i can get past the bloody awful pink details all over the thing.

has anyone got a WR1 on here??

ive never been in one, only seen interior pics and cant really see the detail..do these have
a) decent seats
b) no pink decals, stitching in the interior..
