Default fan keeps kicking in

hi my fan keeps coming on lately very constant, even with oout boosting, just driving v stedy, last night when i pulled up on drive fan kicked in and i waited for it to go off but it didnt, it was going for over 7 mins, eventually i turned the egnition off. what could be causing this? does anyone know?,,,oil and water is fine!!!!!...

could be a air lock in the system or faulty thermostat i had this problem re done coolant and bleed it again all was fine

oh ok cheers mate, will try this thankyou.. i was thinking thermostat but the temp gage doesnt go up.... cheers for advice..

Have you got you're air con switched on?
When I have mine on the fan kicks in almost all the time.

faulty coolant temp sensor can cause the fan to come on early or even stay on all the time.
