Default BRAKES: Refurbished 4 pots, Godspeed discs and pads = squeaky drivers side. HELP !

Hi. As above. Freshly refurbished 4 pots (new pistons and seals), with Godspeed grooved discs and Kevlar pads. Fitted a couple of weeks ago gives no squeaky sound from the beginnig till last week. Only drivers side does make a squeaky noise but only on VERY low speed, basically when car is rolling and brake pedal is applied.

Also, the brake disc on this side is slightly warmer compared to passenger side. Any ideas ???

Thank You

I could understand if they were doing that from the beginning, but... Why is it only one side ? And why it's getting warmer than the other ?
Everything is PERFECT apart from that irritating noise :-(

HI
It sounds as though the caliper on the side getting warm is not releasing off the disc and is dragging , have you reconditioned your calipers yourself or did I do them ?

Cheers Ian

HI
When you did them , did you clean out the bores of any signs of rust ? they need to be perfectly clean , if you did and everything is right there , was any of the pistons tight to fit in the caliper , did they slide in pushing them with your thumbs , or did you have to use force to get them in , they should be easy to slide in when greased up , it could be a piston that is too big
Cheers Ian

I pushed them in easily by thumbs and bores were cleaned as well. As for the pistons, I bought them brand new, stainless steel. But as I said, they were fine for few weeks and suddenly, drivers side one started making that noise. Oh, I'll take the calipers of and check what's going on. Will let you know guys.

Thank You for all replies.

Are the dust seals still clipped in place , if a dust seal has come off then the damp can get into the bores of the calipers and start rusting them up again , it doesn't take long at all , this could be the cause of it getting sticky in a short space of time
Cheers Ian
