Default How rare are the JDM STi 9 Hawks?

Been looking around for STi 9 JDM Hawkeyes but dont seem to find any for sale. How rare are these cars & what sort of money do they go for? Are the JDM hawks 2.0l?

Kas

Like rocking horse poo. You just missed out on one for £10k in piston heads. For a mint example your looking at circa £14k.

You got a S202 anyway why would ya want to change!

The S202 i love man & its not going anywhere. I hardly see any white JDM STI 9's.

I was under the impression that they cost 18k upwards . What year & mileage would i be looking at roughly if paying 14k?

£18k+ upwards get's you a nice Spec c.

£13k should get you an average miles STI with stage one mods circa 360bhp with about 30k on the clock maybe less.

13k seems alright. So the Spec C STi 9 is 18k+? Do you know what the weight difference is between the two?

Between a standard MY06 STI and MY06 SPEC C theres 70kg diference with the spec c being he lighter and more rigid car. Loads more sport welds through out the shell and reinforced cross members at the front.

Sounds good! I am assuming the gearing & turbo setup will be different on both.

Gearing is the same ,but the spec c has a rollerbearing turbo for quicker spool up.

If you have never driven a jdm twinscroll then you are in for a pleasant surprise I love mine although a my05 blob just allow a time to find one took about six months for me to find mine and it was worth the wait. Almost bought a uk car due to looking so long but so glad I didn't. Spec c is better but I wanted daily driver and the sti with it's extras suited me better. The rear wiper and tinted rear windows being 2 good points for me. Didn't like the hawks as much when I had mine but they are growing on me now although not to keen on rear lights, I love the jdm blob rear lights with the sidelights in the round section. Good look with your hunt
