Default possible newbie

hi all ive been in the honda scene for quite a while now having owned a dc2,ek9 and currently an s2000 but ive always loved scoobs and now i think im ready to take the plunge.still cant decide if i want a newage or classic as i love the two door shell.anyone else moved over from honda's and regretted it.i love the honda's for their reliability and fun factor, is something i can expect with a scoob albeit a bit more expensive.

Default Honda/Subaru.

Like yourself love Subarus and Hondas.Had five Imprezas but returned to Honda as cheaper to run and confident can thrash them every day and still know its going to get me to my work.

On my third scoob now and tbh the first 2 I had I swapped and this one I bought cheap. And as of yet I have never had anything serious go wrong (getting splinters ). Yes I have been lucky and damn do I enjoy these cars. Never had a Honda of any sort, but I would rather my wagon over most cars tbh.
Yes they can be costly and are not cheap to run and now the weather is changing the 4wd will come in very handy

Running costs is a big dissapointment and the more power you want the more its gonna cost, all ways

But at the end of the day, they are great fun

I would disagree, people expect these cars to cost a lot to run, so you know what you are getting yourself into. I've actually been impressed with servicing costs, delighted at how inexpensive servicing etc is.

The £/BHP gain ratio is MUCH better than on any N/A engine, inc. Honda!

Had a couple of hondas, had a ek4 before my current scoob! I love Honda but I would never go back to Honda now!

I went from a classic turbo to a DC2 Teg and regretted it.

I went from a type R to my scooby and now would not have anything else. Why did I not get a scooby earlier?

Sorry but what I was actually aiming at was the cost of fuel, not servicing as they are not too bad there
