Default Engine Type????

Hi,

I have a 53 plate impreza wrx turbo. Does anyone know how I can find out what type of engine it has?

Although I can't actually work out where they go i'm looking at buying a Silicone Hose kit but I need to know what type of engine I have. The kits for my year seem to be EJ20 or EJ25 engines but how do I know which one?

Sorry if this sound stupid.

Cheers

You are EJ20 mate

EJ20 = 2.0 litre
EJ25 = 2.5 litre

There are no stupid questions- only stupid answers!

Nice one cheers. There seems to be a lot of pipes in this kit i'm looking at (10) but on the engine I can't see where they go. I'm an Aircraft Engineer so I am used to working this kind of thing out.

The kits for the EJ20 engine so must all fit in some how.

Thanks again

I hope so with some of the threads and questions I have asked in my first 8 weeks of scooby ownership.
