Are Scooby's a health hazard?
I've got a blob STI and this is the first car that has caused other road users to drive erratically upon just seeing my car. This is without me even goading them into a race or the like.
It's happened to me on a number of occasions and I've seen all marques of car go crazy, once they notice my vehicle being there. It's as if they need to acknowledge their prowess as a capable driver, even though their car may not be.
As crazy as this sounds, I somtimes feel guilty for making them act this way and some have come close to crashing!

I get it all the time. Drove past some sort of cruise the other day Saxos as far as the eye could see, within 10 secs they were all behind me giving it loads. I just let them past to which I was greeted with some choice hand gestures. lol

For me it seems to BMW drivers that are the worst for it. Especialy when coming form two roads into one they are determined for you not to get in front of them to the point they're willing to bump you out of the way.

Very common some people see a scoob and think that they need to try to prove that their car is as quick or quicker, also get a lot of people get to close from behind trying to push me, best to ignore them as it's their problem not ours,

I seem to have a problem with taxi drivers tailgating me to see how fast I can go! I drop down to 20mph to **** them off, I know what my car can do, no need to prove nothing to anyone.
Anyone got any spare 1.6 GL badges they want to sell?

Scoobs are the bench mark by which others like to judge themselves and their cars by, so they can go down the pub and tell their mates they dusted a scooby the other night and how fast their piece of shyte tin box is.
Just take it as a compliment, and welcome to da "BIG DOWGS CLUB"

In a taxi on the way home the other night. Overtaken by a silver car. Taxi driver says "**** thats travelling". Just glimpse the begiinings of the reg. "It's ok, it's the wife in my car" says I laughing. Is why every wannabe has to have a go whenever they see a scoob, they just do it so effortlessly.

LOL, yeah get the same.....
If you're in front they are up yer rear end wanting to do 60mph, if they're in front and there is no chance of getting past its down to 20 in a 40, road opens up, guess what the muppets try and do? There is no way I'm going to stay sat behind some divvy in a fiesta/saxo/corsa/any other car driven by chav/old fart..
Actually the old farts are worse round here than the chavs, at least the young 'uns have a bit of respect for the car.....

It's the 45 mph ers thet get me. Overtake in a 60 and flash flash flash "how dare you overtake you speeding nutter" Next 30 zone they come trundling up still doing 45! Who's the dangerous one?

Oh jeeeez!
Driving to work yesterday, some 50 year old geeza in some shi**y w reg punto (probably 1.2) was waiting at the lights for me side by side.
As i got infront of him, he suddenly turned into Schumacher and thought he was in the Monaco Grand Prix lol.
I just tune it out and look what's infront of me rather than behind. Coz if people slam into you, it's there fault for following to closely !!
