Question Timing belt kits

I am thinking about producing these and adding them to our catalog

We can make the timing and tensioner pulleys uprated, and make a new alloy tensioner arm. I will just need to get a price for a batch of belts.

I just need to know if there is enough interest out there if we can complete/ better ebay prices.

This is the kit I am talking about..http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/SUBARU-IMP...item4ce22232d0

Please let me know if these are worth doing,

chris

Might be worth checking on importcarparts to see if you can compete with them as they do sets fairly cheaply.

RCM do a belt kit for £299 and cosworth belt kit for £359 so you'd need to price around that sort of range.

I know that on the MY99/00 theres an extra idler/tensioner on the right hand side. Tiny little roller bearing but costs a bloody fortune for what it is. Not sure if this is also on the later years.

Got a full Gates kit for £200 for a Newage Blob 8 months ago. Paid £210 for a full Gates kit for my P1 2 months ago.

Would need to be significantly cheaper than that for me to consider moving away from a brand and kit that I trust to make belt kits. Just want to be honest.

You kit would need to have at least a Gates belt as well, non of this Dayco crap
