how many posts about groups/meets/friends etc are you going to put up chap?
You've got a low post count so maybe joining in with other discussions will get you better known with the community rather than trying to start your own.

Sorry guys not trying to start my own group, just trying to start a model specific group.

you'll see from the responses you've had that this isnt a good idea mate.
This is an established community with thousands of members. If it was a good idea, someone would have done it by now.
End of the day, the wagons, wrx's and sti's all roll together, thats the way it is. Some like it, some dont but until you start mixing with us and being part of the community i'd advise you not to try and start your own, you're just singling yourself out.

Sorry to offend anyone, i totally understand the whole any subarus a good one thing, just thought i would be creative.
Many thanks to anyone who wants to support me and our STI group, you obviously get it.
Not trying to single myself out, or big my self up.
If the respect for scoobys is there, then no one should really have a problem with an extra group???
Anyway appologies again to anyone i have annoyed, not intentional.

I dont undrstand why everyones getting so funny about STI group
Just trying to join people together.
How come the white scoobys group is ok or maybe the xbox360 group.

Essex scooby crew were one of the orignal groups 12 years ago
I was one of the orignal founders of Cumbria scoobs and Tyne tees scoobs
The north east is so big that there is the nesf also
Down country you have the lads , smacs , cads and north wales group
In Yorkshire the hugh uk scoobies and of course the might H runs all of the midlands
And of course the special one Alfie runs the simply Subaru club
All these clubs atend the NBO every year and have over 90% of all Subaru owners in their regions
Apolgies if I've missed any other clubs out
These are all well established and all give lots of money to charties too
Although scoobynet covers the whole of the uk all clubs have very active forums too with hundreds of members
Why not join up with your local club and be part of the gang as all clubs over the uk are always looking for new enthuastic members
All clubs will be meeting up at the NBO 10 on 24 th June next year and many will be at Blackpool on Saturday night for the big convoy planned

As said, there are plenty of Subaru clubs/groups around as well as a number of forums so anything new must have something new or different to offer. STi's are not really so special as to warrent a forum specific to them.
So, don't get too miffed about the response and try to ignore the more sarcastic posts, they're often from the 'hand sitting' group I mentioned earlier.

What the hell has being a "non paying member " got to do with the subject in question?
I've done my share of organising and club commitee responsibilities (not car related) in the past, so I speak with a small amount of knowledge of 'hand sitters'!

The whole group thing was about creating a part of the forum that is model specific.
Annoying people or needing friends is not the reason.
Just a bit of community spirit directed at Impreza STI models.
The same as the difference between ps3 or xbox360
Doesnt mean im persecuting owners of a different model.
They are more than capable of creating there own group.
Many thanks to anybody who chooses to support me, i can only assume that you have an other motive if you choose not to support me, as i thought they were all subaru impreza.
We all enjoy the same car and they are all the same really.
Except for mine! Lol
