I'm having a quick drive round to collect a few tools and try to get a towbar then off to see if i can find my car. Will be taking proof that the car is mine, if anyone can help with anything from a trailer to just a phone number for a local tow truck or even hotwire it for me so i can get it home give me a text please,

 

good luck mate...have some people with you in case they get gobbie as you never know how they will re-act.and also speak to your local plod and say what your going to do as the call will be logged.if you were nearer i would come with you in uniform which normally stops people from gobbing off.

Cheers guys, will update later. No luck getting a towbar or trailer so gonna see if there's anyone there or anyway to get access to the keys.

Car's taxed, insured & mot'd so if it's driveable then all's well, failing that it's a trip to the nearest halfords for a towbar or calling a tow truck... if it's still there...

 

are you an AA or like member? maybe they will recover it. If you were closer i would gladly fire up the transporter to recover it for you.

Hi mate, good luck with getting it back.

Ive just bought a towbar for my 05 STI, but havent fitted it yet as i need some bolts for it. If somebody else wants to fit it to there scoob and tow you out your welcome to borrow it.

I would help myself but not allowed to tow anything that big unfortunately

where abouts are you mate ?

 

Have you got AA/RAC/Green Slag recovery? if so get them to recover the car. wait nearby until they turn up.

As zohan say, or get a private recovery. Should get one for around 50 quid. Don't tow it too far because you will damage your transmission.

i went down this afternoon too, his car was outside the unit, but no one in and no answer to phone calls. he got it on a tow truck and left about 3.00

 

thats great he got it back,

 

Shame the aholes will not have fixed his car and have had it away with his cash...
