Just picked up the classic wagon after a year off the road. it had suffered the dreaded HG fail so finally got round to putting it into the garage and she come back tonight after what seemed a long month of waiting.
in total it got replaced:-
-engine
-gearbox and diff (replaced the ra short box for the uk one)
-steering rack
-calipers
-discs and pads
-new boots everywhere
-intercooler
-radiator
-3inch hi flow sports cat welded in to the existing 3inch system : )

and ****loads more i cant remember. all in a garage bill of 2k (not including supplying my own engine, gb and diff)

i can't believe the change in the car, its like having a brand new one. gear changes are super slick and tight and it just keeps puling and pulling.

God i love subaru
